Fulton Alley

From Parking Garage to Boutique Bowling Alley

The open air bus parking area in the Harrah’s parking garage was transformed into a boutique bowling center.  The 20,000 SF space contains 12 lanes, 2 bars, a restaurant, commercial kitchen, and outdoor seating areas.  Palmisano Contractors’ team approach ensured success working closely with the Owner and out-of-town Architect.

The existing parking structure added an element of complication because the unconditioned space was not originally designed for a build-out.  The floor was sloping to drains, there were no doors or windows, no provisions for HVAC or electrical systems, and the envelope was uninsulated.  All performed within a tight 16-week time frame, Palmisano Contractors converted the raw space into an operating facility.

Our Approach

Through the collaborative process and relentless pursuit of value, Palmisano was able to deliver the project 10% less than the competition and complete it within a 16-week time frame.

The front desk at Fulton Alley could have been lifted from an ultra modern hotel. The staff is stylish. Brightly colored bowling shoes are nowhere to be seen.
