The Blake at The Grove is an all-new senior living community located adjacent to The Addison in Baton Rouge, LA. The development consists of a combination of 213 one- and two-bedroom independent, assisted living, and memory care designed apartments. Three landscaped courtyards provide ample space for residents to spend time outdoors. The buildings total 260,000 sq. ft. on an 8 acre campus and include an indoor spa, swimming pool, fitness room, commercial kitchen, bistro and dining rooms, a salon, and activity rooms.
Palmisano Contractors worked closely with Cardinal Ventures, CR Properties, and Humphreys and Partners Architects throughout the pre-construction phase in order to keep the project within budget. Construction commenced in January 2016 and lasted 16 months.
The team working on the Blake in Baton Rouge experienced well over 100 weather days in the early stages of the project. Record rainfall would have put most contractors well behind deadline. Because Palmisano was awarded the project by recommendation from a repeat client, the team felt it was especially important to deliver on time. Many, many long days later, the original completion date is fast approaching, and Palmisano is on track to keep its promise.
The Blake will provide long term care for the elderly and those with degenerative memory diseases to give peace of mind to families in Baton Rouge and the surrounding region.
